DLPA: Source Naturals

DLPA

DLPA is a 50/50 blend of L-phenylalanine and D-phenylalanine (DPA). Researchers believe DPA inhibits the action of an enzyme that breaks down endorphins and enkephalins - proteins that bind to opiate receptor sites in the brain, thereby influencing the perception of discomfort. By obstructing the action of this enzyme, DPA may extend the life of endorphins and enkephalins, and their positive influence on comfort levels.

Suggested Use: 1 to 2 tablets, 1 to 2 times daily.
Excipients: dibasic calcium phosphate, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, modified cellulose gum and talc.
Warning: Contains phenylalanine. Not to be used by phenylketonurics, pregnant or breast-feeding women, or with antidepressant drugs such as MAOI’s or SSRI’s. If you have chronic high blood pressure, consult your health care professional.
Allergies: Suitable for vegetarians and HYPOALLERGENIC: contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, starch, salt, preser-vatives, or artificial color, flavor or fragrance.
