Arrowroot Powder
Arrowroot Powder from NOW® is a dietary starch derived from the Maranta arundinacea plant, a tropical perennial native to Central American and the West Indies. It is an excellent thickening agent that is especially useful for delicate sauces and soups, or sauces that need to be cooked at low temperatures, such as dairy- or egg-based sauces. Arrowroot is considered a nutritious and easily digestible starch.
